Terms of use

Squigglegram turns words into abstract paintings. These terms cover using the site, sharing and sending your paintings, and ordering prints. By using Squigglegram you agree to them.

1. Your words stay with you

Your words are turned into a painting inside your own browser. We don't receive them, store them or read them. A gift link carries your words encrypted inside it, so anyone who has the link can read them: send it only to the people you mean it for. We count visits and button presses anonymously, never the words.

2. What you can't create, share, send or print

These rules follow the community guidelines of X, Instagram and Pinterest, so anything you make here is safe to post there. Don't use Squigglegram for words that:

Words don't need to be spelled out to break these rules: deliberate misspellings, spacing and code words count too.

3. How we apply these rules

4. Your painting

The same words always make the same painting. You're welcome to keep it, share the image anywhere and print it for yourself. The system that draws the paintings, and the paintings as artworks, belong to Squigglegram. For commercial use, such as client projects, product designs or resale, get in touch for a licence.

5. Prints

Prints are coming soon. Their prices, shipping and return terms will be shown before you order.

6. The usual fine print

Squigglegram is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
